“Fantastic week's skiing”Jean, Leeds
Reviewed 23 February 2014 for a stay in February 2014
Just back from a week in Arosa with my husband and son. This apartment was perfect for us, warm and comfortable with (most important after a day on the slopes) a great shower. The hosts, Mike and Helen, were helpful and informative and I was very impressed with Mike's choice of skis to rent. Now that there is a link with Lenzerheide, Arosa has fantastic skiing and is a lovely town with lots of choice of where to eat. Most amazing was the lack of queues for the lift - a real contrast to previous holidays. I thoroughly recommend Arosa and this accommodation. I think that we may return in the summer!! There is a chalet next door for bigger groups.

“Excellent family holiday with friendly welcome”

We have holidayed in the apartment at Chalet Runca twice in the last 2 years and have just made a reservation for a return visit next year. The Hosts have always been extremely helpful and have always made us feel very welcome. The apartment has always been clean and ready for our arrival. The apartment is situated opposite the ski bus stop which takes you straight into town and access to the slopes making it a perfect place to stay for families with young children...ours are 2, 6 and 8 years old. There are plenty of good slopes for children as well as the more advanced skiers and good tuition is available from the local ski school...or better still ask Mike the chalet host! There are plenty of nice restaurants and shops nearby and a cinema and ice rink within walking distance.
We have found it to be a perfect destination for young familes and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone thinking of taking a break on the Swiss slopes.
